Brian KIM, Hyun-cheong

Hyuncheong Kim is a South Korean entrepreneur, content strategist, and journalist. In his late twenties, he served as a missionary in the Philippines. After returning to Korea, he worked as Editor-in-Chief of a weekly newspaper jointly published by the Korean Union Conference (KUC) and ASI.

He is the founder and CEO of Blueage Inc., a content-driven company, and publisher of several specialty magazines, including the travel and culture magazine The BOM, the Korean Wave commentary magazine Burning, as well as various titles covering economics, sports, architecture, and the arts.

With a multidisciplinary background in media, marketing, international development, journalism, and education, he has consistently explored the structural challenges of Korean society and the cultural dynamics that shape it. His critical analysis of the Korean entertainment industry, media ethics, and the globalization of K-pop has gained attention from both domestic and international audiences.

Hyuncheong Kim studied journalism and international business at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. His work bridges theory and practice, with a focus on rural revitalization, multicultural education, and structuralist approaches to content development. He has led multiple projects centered on social value, storytelling, and local empowerment.

He has also contributed to building global networks through culture and the arts, having served as an Organizing Committee Member of the TAFISA World Congress, Chairman of the Korea Library Industry Association, and Chairman of the Seoul Leaders Club.

Currently, Hyuncheong Kim serves as the chairman of Blueage Group, overseeing its subsidiaries and leading efforts in product development and global expansion in the field of retail technology.
